It has been a pleasure to be a part of many milestones with Rasika & Ashish- from their engagement to their wedding, and now at their baby shower. Like many baby showers in India, this occasion was graced by many women who came to bless the couple with a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby. In this ceremony, the couple also plays a game where they uncover one of two sweets to predict if they're having a boy or a girl! A gulab jamun (a fried donut soaked in a sweet rose syrup) represents a boy and a jalebi (a fried batter soaked in sugar syrup) represents a girl.
